Living Constitution
Living Constitution - - the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights are applied in the context of circumstances that reflect changes in our society.
>> LAW-RELATED EDUCATION
For a long time, I thought these words (without caps) were the invention of teachers who wanted students to know that the Constitution matters in their lives. And, maybe teachers were the first ones to use the phrase. But those capital letters have enormous implications. The Living Constitution is a life form that responds to its environment. We, the People, provide rich soil, sunlight and water by recognizing new opportunities for equality and justice. The Constitution grows with us.
