Smart Growth Online - "a web-based catalogue of Smart Growth related news, events, information and resources. Developed and funded through a cooperative agreement between the US EPA and the Sustainable Communities Network, this tool is designed to advance public understanding of smart growth and how growth can improve community livability.
Sonoran Institute - a nonprofit organization that "works with communities to conserve and restore important natural landscapes in Western North America, including the wildlife and cultural values of these lands. The Institute's efforts create lasting benefits, including healthy landscapes and vibrant livable communities that embrace conservation as an integral element of their economies and quality of life."
State Trust Land Joint Venture - "assist diverse communities in improving state trust land administration in the American West. The Joint Venture seeks to assist trust land managers in balancing public values with fiduciary responsibility by promoting improved trust land stewardship, collaborative land-use planning, and efficient and effective trust land asset management.
The Trust for Public Land (TPL) - "a national, nonprofit, land conservation organization that conserves land for people to enjoy as parks, community gardens, historic sites, rural lands, and other natural places, ensuring livable communities for generations to come. of 150 prominent Arizona citizens twice a year to discuss major concerns about Arizona's future."
