Experience Wave - Helping Older Adults Stay Engaged and Give Back - "a project supported by The Atlantic Philanthropies that advances federal and state policies that will make it easier for mid-life and older adults to stay engaged in work and community life.

Public Allies - "advances diverse young adults to lead positive community change. Through our programs, young people, ages 18 to 30, serve in full-time apprenticeships creating, improving and expanding services at local nonprofit organizations, and participate in a rigorous leadership development program that combines weekly training, coaching, team projects and reflection."

Campus Compact
A national coalition of over 900 college and university presidents who support the civic purposes of higher education through community service, developing students' citizenship skills, creating partnerships between campuses and communities, and helping faculty bring community engagement into their teaching and research.

City Year
A national nonprofit organization founded in 1988 "that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service, giving them the skills and opportunities to change the world."

Youth Service America - a national nonprofit resource dedicated to making service and service-learning the common expectation and common experience of all young people in America.
