Skoll Foundation - advancing "systemic change to benefit communities around the world by investing in, connecting and celebrating social entrepreneurs. Social entrepreneurs are proven leaders whose approaches and solutions to social problems are helping to better the lives and circumstances of countless underserved or disadvantaged individuals."

Social Edge - "the global online community where social entrepreneurs and other practitioners of the social benefit sector connect to network, learn, inspire and share resources." A program of the Skoll Foundation.

Social Venture Partners, Seattle - "a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to addressing social and environmental issues in the King County region of Washington; a philanthropic organization using a venture capital model, where Partners actively nurture their financial investments with guidance and resources."

Social Venture Partners International - "a federation of Social Venture Partners (SVP) that seek to catalyze significant, long-term positive social change in their communities by educating individuals to be well informed, effective, and engaged philanthropists and investing time, expertise, and money in innovative nonprofits to collaboratively strengthen their organizations."

Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP) - "a philanthropic investment organization that helps great leaders build strong, high-performing nonprofit institutions.
