Trial lawyers' associations at the state and national level are dedicated to preserving the civil justice system and the right to trial by jury in civil cases; protecting consumers; advocating for civil rights; protecting the health and safety of children and families.
American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) - dedicated to the preservation of the 7th Amendment right to civil trial by jury; advancing education and training of trial lawyers.
Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA)
Alabama Trial Lawyers Association - Dedicated to "serving and protecting the public by safeguarding and defending the advocacy system so that the rights and remedies of all individuals are protected."
Alaska Academy of Trial Lawyers - "A nonprofit organization comprised of trial lawyers who represent the interests of people who have been injured or who have unfairly suffered due to the negligent action of others."

Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association - an organization of attorneys "who share the common goals of protecting the health and safety of Arkansas families, of enhancing consumer protections and of preserving each and every citizens' right to trial by jury."
Center for Justice and Democracy - "Fighting to protect the right to trial by jury and an independent judiciary for all Americans."
Colorado Trial Lawyers Association - "committed to the protection and advancement of individual rights and to the advancement of trial advocacy skills, high ethical standards and professionalism in the ongoing effort to preserve and improve the American system of jurisprudence."
Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association - "dedicated to creating and maintaining a more just society by preserving individual rights within the Civil Justice System."

Maine Trial Lawyers Association
Maryland Trial Lawyers Association - "preserving the civil justice system and the right to trial by jury in civil cases."
Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys
Michigan Trial Lawyers Association - an organization of 2,000 members "who became lawyers so they could help Michigan's working families seek justice when they are injured by an unsafe product, drunk driver or by another person's negligence. MTLA members work to promote safety for all Michigan citizens by standing up for accountability and responsibility."
